It’s a great reminder that progress isn’t about age, it’s about consistency. For anyone struggling with “wobbly” lines or proportions, what helped me a lot was doing very short, timed sketches (1–2 minutes) of simple everyday objects like cups
, hands, or plants. It takes the pressure off perfection and gradually improves both observation and control. Also, drawing bigger (using your arm instead of just your wrist) made a noticeable difference in line confidence for me.
