My advice would be, to increase the learning value of these practice poses, take some of the time you are currently using on "finishing touches" like shading and instead spend it on underlying structure and on measuring proportions. I know this is very hard to do, since shading is really fun and makes your drawings look nice, but shading is rarely what people need to work on in order to make big advances in skill.
