    Really interesting discussion. I think choosing a training method based on your specific goal makes a lot of sense. For me, I usually stick with a method if it helps me notice small improvements over time, even if the progress feels slow at first. I also agree that “fun” matters, because it’s easier to stay consistent with practice when you actually enjoy the process. At the same time, some uncomfortable exercises can still be valuable if they target a weakness directly. Finding the balance between enjoyment and effective skill-building seems to be the hardest part of self-study.
