Done as part of a practice session with portrait of 20-40 minutes in length. My current goal is: Better understand human anatomy, so I can render imagined poses

Evatooru,

I believe you could go harder on your shading. A lot of the images you are sharing have more dramatic lighting than your image does.

Was that a style choice, or would you consider being braver in expressing light?

No no, not a style choice, just still a general lack of skill haha😅

That's true that the values are not contrasting enough, I'll try to go harder on the shading, as you said!
