Done as part of a practice session with poses of 5 minutes in length.
My current goal is: Better understand human anatomy, so I can render imagined poses
I agree with you. Study human anatomy - muscles & bone structure. If you want to draw figures from your imagination you must have a good knowledge of human anatomy. I see you are starting off with stick figures to get the action of the figure. Good start. The internet has information on anatomy for free. Male drawings and keep them at hand so you can refer to them. When you are ready, start drawing the whole figure. Line-of-Action has many to choose from and has sections on the Face/Head and Hands/Feet. This work will not get you up to speed will not happen overnight.
Remember: Practice makes better. So practice practice, then practice some more. After a while, you will be please with the result. Get busy.
