Hey! Art student here! I checked out your work it’s very gestural, and you have a wonderful sense of flow in your drawings. The energy and movement are really lovely. However, as you mentioned yourself, facial structure seems to be one of your weaker areas, and that could explain why the rest of your work doesn’t feel very solid. It feels like you’re missing some underlying construction, which is essential for accuracy and consistency. I recommend starting with solid, simplified shapes like cubes, cylinders, and spheres to better understand and build form. Try using these to break down complex anatomy into manageable parts: the ribcage as a barrel, the arms as one big cylinders, and the forearm using two rods to represent the radius and ulna (or simplify it even further by making it into a simple cylinder too!) This approach can also help you with depth and perspective. As you improve your foundational understanding of volume and structure, your faces and overall anatomy will gain a lot more confidence! Keep pushing, your potential is very clear!!
