Did you also mention you changed the limit for custom playlists? It's still telling me 100 is the maximum.

It's not about Alex as a model or if he is divisive, the problem is you have loads of duplicates and a high ratio compared to other models. For example, (and I didn't even have to scroll further than my custom images) : https://www.imghippo.com/i/X8530Mg.png
Four in a row, not even a change in expression, and there are duplicate like this of basically a large mass of hair, but that's not the point. Adding more images over time is all well and good, but you've never added more portrait photographs so the ratio is still terrible.

If you need more help on the admin side to free you up to focus on Dev I'd happily volunteer (I've been a paid community manager in the past), but either way it might be worth thinking about delegating these types of things (including answering forum posts). I know it's a pain in the butt to go through hundreds of photos and deciding which are "worthy". I actually hate to moan and I feel super entitled however, I really do think it would be a big improvement to do some curation.

    Thanks for your time Kim

I got Alex like 10 times in a row today and had to stop using the tool out of frustration. Alex is a great model, but there are far too many random pictures of his back, and the back of his head and of him over all in the portrait tool(plus I hate the phone he holds). He is by far the most common model, in fact I have filled 10 pages in the suppressed image tool of exclusively him, plus 250 of my own photos uploaded, and still got Alex, by my count, 10 times in a row today. TO be clear, I do not want Alex removed, far from it, I'd just really like some curation so I'm not practicing on the same model 8/10 times everyday. I have ADHD and I really struggle to focus, and the tool has been a godsend for daily practices but every time I skip an image increases the chances of me messing about and getting distracted.

I've tried everything I can think of to resolve the issue myself, including submitting photos of myself that I got a photographer to take to reduce his overall density, but I've ended up getting really bothered by it lately, but like I said, I'm really grateful for the tool so I don't want to take it out on you, I also have no issues with the model themselves so please don't take it that way.

Basically and politely, please remove some of the repeated or dud photo's and deduce the overall number of photo's of Alex in the portrait tool.

I've had this issue for a while, sorry for not reporting it. I'm also on win/firefox.

Hey guys, I'll say nice to meet you both again, you both seem like fantastic artists and I'm just starting out again after a big hiatus when I left my illustration course, so I feel a little outclassed. Although while I have exclusive access, I thought I'd ask some questions 🤣

How do you guys usually start out building a character. In my head it's, generate a bunch of features, either from your brain or a RNG or from a dev doc etc. Then I would do silhouettes based on shape language, pick my favourites and then pick out some details. I'm a bit hesitant to get started though, I'm not sure why, but maybe hearing from you guys will give me a push.

So, how do you guys do it?

Yo, I'm 35, UK, Liverpool area based.Ive been flirting with the idea of become an illustrator for 10-ISH years, so I'm finally commiting. Similar to Sofie, I'd like to build my visual library, so there are less restrictions on what I can quickly sketch without reference. Currently working a on a bird book as a personal project.

I'd like to open up my own illustration studio, let's call that one my five year plan. This year's goal would be to be sponsored by my local council to paint a mural. (Or to be paid by anyone to paint anything).

I've always wanted to draw my own comic but have never been very confident drawing people, which isn't an excuse, but I feel my lack ability in that area has held me back.

Edit: my name is Dan! And here is my artstation: https://sunsetbound.artstation.com/

My one min stuff is mostly hips and ribs and head with the LOA put down first. Sometimes I have time to ground the pose and get in the shoulder positions too. I feel like you're missing the point of these warm up sketches. It's to loosen you up and get you out of the details, to get you to see the entire shape and flow of what you're drawing.

I know it seems counter intuitive but try slowing down, you're not there to make finished drawings, you are trying to learn to intuit what the basic shapes of a human are and where to put them relative to each other. If you put the 4 foundational shapes down, you should then be able to work out the rest of the body without even looking at the model.

    I hope that helps x
